Plant Happy was created in 2021 as a labor of love to fill a gap we saw for a simple, elegant, and affordable self-watering planter solution for semi-hydroponic houseplants. 

As semi-hydroponic growing is already our preference, and is growing popularity, we have decided to lean into that simplicity. We sought out a reliable, go-to planter. We sought simplicity, beauty, functionality, and sustainability. Nothing fit the bill. So, we began on our journey to fill the gap. Our Hydro-Friendly planter was born. We wanted to eliminate extra steps and components while maximizing efficiency, elegance, and ease of use. After several iterations and in-depth product testing we are proud to offer our original Hydro-Friendly planter as the go-to planter for all types of semi-hydroponic houseplants.

 

Our goal was to create the ideal planters for semi-hydro houseplants.

We sought the best materials and determined which sizes would be most useful to houseplant owners. We landed on durable borosilicate glass paired with real wood base which provides sturdiness. Our planters are made of fully sustainable materials.
